Best Management Practice

CHRRUP is a service delivery partner for both Grains and Grazing Best Management Practice (BMP) programs. The BMP programs allows grain growers and graziers to:

  • Better plan and implement actions to improve long term profitability and sustainability of their business
  • Gain access to training and funding opportunities
  • Share and communicate industry successes
  • Identify industry best practice

CHRRUP’s technical field staff provide the training and support for attendees completing the self assessment modules. Our staff will work with you to review your practices and identify the next steps for your business.

The BMP programs are an initiative of Agforce, the Queensland department of Agriculture, fisheries and Forestry and Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA). Modules are based upon current research, industry knowledge and input from agribusiness representatives.
